Hi, I’m Ellie Farrell, The Whitby Celebrant. I have been a wedding and funeral celebrant for nearly ten years now, and this has given me the opportunity to meet so many people, create over a thousand unique ceremonies and to tell the same amount of life stories.
Writing funeral ceremonies for Pagans, (I am a Pagan funeral celebrant), Goth funerals, historical re-enactment groups and specialising in alternative ceremonies (the name of my wedding and company, Alternative Ceremonies UK) has been a privilege.
To celebrate so many individual lives and to help people say goodbye in their unique ways is an honour.
I am also the founder and creator of Choice Celebrant Training and have personally trained over 550 wedding and funeral celebrants over the last ten years. A writer of guest blogs on various topics relating to funerals, nominated as Funeral Celebrant of the Year (to be beaten by a Vicar, the irony) and an experienced and knowledgeable celebrant.
